The Emirates sit on the historical trade routes for agarwood, frankincense and myrrh, and fragrance has been a daily household ritual in the region for centuries rather than an occasional luxury. Household spending on perfume in the UAE is among the highest in the world per capita. That demand supports both large houses producing at industrial scale and small studios blending oil attars by hand — and both categories export.
What separates good from tourist-grade
Three signals matter. First, oil concentration: a genuine extrait or high-concentration eau de parfum feels dense on skin and does not vanish in three hours. Second, the base materials: real amber and musk accords develop and change over a day, cheap ones stay flat. Third, the supply chain: a bottle sold with no batch code, no listed manufacturer and a price too good to be plausible almost never contains what the label promises. We source only from authorised suppliers and can document origin for every composition.
Attar, mukhallat and spray perfume
Attar traditionally means an alcohol-free oil, applied in tiny amounts to pulse points and worn extremely close to the skin — the longest-lasting format that exists. Mukhallat means a blend of several oils, usually built around oud and rose. Spray eau de parfum is the modern, alcohol-based format that projects further and is easier to dose. Oil formats survive heat better, which matters if you want a fragrance for a genuinely hot summer.
How our import works
We buy directly from producers and authorised distributors in Dubai and Abu Dhabi rather than through intermediate wholesalers, which removes two or three margin layers from the final price. Every shipment is checked on arrival against batch codes, and we test each composition ourselves before it enters the catalogue. Stock is held in Poland, so an order placed here ships domestically — you do not pay customs or wait for an international parcel.

Not universally. They are built differently — higher oil concentration and heavier base materials, which means more longevity and more presence, not automatically more quality.
Will I pay customs duty?
No. Stock is held in Poland and ships domestically or within the EU, so there are no customs charges for EU customers.
What is the difference between attar and eau de parfum?
Attar is an alcohol-free oil worn very close to the skin with extreme longevity; eau de parfum is alcohol-based, projects further and is easier to apply evenly.
